Vicarello cups (Model D)
Silver reproduction of one of the four silver cups come from the rich votive deposit of Vicarello. Each bears an itinerary from Cadiz (Gades) to Rome, engraved with slight variations in several columns. The cups, dating to the 3rd century B.C., are amongst the earliest and most precise epigraphic testimonies of the Roman road system. Also from Vicarello come other silver vases, some of which bear engraved dedications to the health-giving divinities of the place (Apollo, the Nymphs, Sylvanus).
Direct reproductions of the originals. The entire process of crafting the silverware is done by hand. Depending on the current silver price at the time of casting, the prices may vary (the updated price for the items in stock is shown on the tag). All our silver cups bear two hallmarks (requiered by law), one that identifies us as a manufacturers (BR, Roman Bronzes In Spain, registered in the patent and trademark office) and the official hallmark from the laboratory of the Community of Madrid (925M) where analyses are conducted for each casting. The vessels are made of sterling silver (minimum hallamark of 925 mls).
